...does that mean some "worlds" (servers) will be destroyed?

Pretty good incentive to beat the guy.

Results could be cataclysmic.

Either that, or we'd have to reevaluate why players aren't being able to get to him and accomplish killing him. The show must go on after all!

There's no rush.

Please allow me to reiterate... There's no rush. No need for early nerfs before most people even get to try. No need to weaken the 'trash' because suddenly trash is a challenge.

Don't let them get twitchy and start swinging the nerf bat, not yet at least.

Please...

We're in no rush. While we don't want it to be impossible, we also recognize that given enough time we will be able to see if we're at impossible or not. Then, if it is shown to be possible, we'll watch some more and see just how possible. Balancing encounters would be easier if it was an exact science, but when dealing with people who can be unpredictable in the way they "solve" problems, it's not always so cut and dry.

do the developers really sit there watching people fight bosses in an invisible mode?

We have before. Do you always feel like someone is watching you? ;)
