Friends list notes?

Up until the patch, I was able to set notes for each of the people on my friends list (like you used to be able to on the guild tab... apparently you can't do that anymore either). Much of the time these notes were how I remembered who people were -- "tank from group quest in icecrown", things like that, just to jog my memory as to who the people on my list are if I can't remember. But apparently they're gone?
Where did the notes go? :( They were so helpful.
