Guilds already on Yogg-Saron - Intended?

So several guilds are now battling Yogg-Saron and could have him down at anytime. The patch is just reaching the 24 hour mark.. even considering they have cleared things on easy modes should they really have made it this far already? Wasn't Nax cleared this fast?
