"Requires the Burning Crusade"

So, yesterday I installed WoW and BC (I honestly couldn't tell you if WotLK was installed, because I couldn't get it to work last night and as of this morning, when I open it it gives me the option to Play as opposed to Install), but I still can't roll Draenei or Blood Elves. I took out the WotLK DVD and put in the BC one to see if that would make any kind of difference, but it hasn't. I was REALLY looking forward to starting on my new character before yet another downtime, so this is pretty disappointing, and admittedly, all this trouble makes me wonder if it's worth spending $15 a month on. >.<
