With the removal of the proto-drakes there is no point in doing half of the Naxx achievements. Blizzard, please reconsider removing them from 3.1.

On the contrary, if you do something for a reward, there is no glory in that.

So are you saying that you would keep working without getting paid anymore?

I never said I was in it for the glory. I'm in it for the cash and also the opportunity to work with you fine, yet very angry, people.

Using that logic why have rewards in the first place? Most aspects of the game are based on being rewarded. Personally after the 3rd or 4th time of doing Naxx I was over it, but I kept going back there for gear and achievements (rewards).

Because people like them.

Unfortunately, it was never our intention to have these mounts be easily attained… which would have happened if we had kept them in the achievement. This would devalue them and take away from their status as unique. We wanted these mounts to be rare. Fortunately, there will be new awesome mounts attainable in Ulduar.

If new mounts are coming then current mounts are already devalued by virtue of them being 'the old mounts'.

Yes, good point. My Amazing Fantasy #15 comic book has been rendered valueless by the release of Spiderman #1.

Dear Crygil,

Then why does Blizzard charge a fee every month ? Going by what you say, there is no glory there either.

People don't exactly play wow for charity you know. The time we put into the game is directly for a reward - i.e entertainment and satisfaction to ourselves, which "someone" who pulls a paycheck in your company is hazarding by his lack of foresight and intelligence by putting in achievements that have NOTHING to do with our PERSONAL performance. I am going to miss out on my proto drake this week when patch hits, for someone ELSE failing on thaddius 3 seconds before boss went down, when it was too late to wipe.

What you said also means, the very fact you are posting here and collecting a paycheck every so often which translates to a fixed time based reward, there is no glory in what you are doing either.

Cheers,

Didn't I say I wasn't in it for the glory? Could have sworn I said that... /shrug
