Tracking and tracking icons not working

when i change from tracking herbs to tracking minerals the icon doesn't change and when i open the drop down menu none is checked .
now when i go from find herbs to find minerals <find minerals> scrolls up on my screen but none is still checked

restarted the game same thing when i mouse over tracking icon it reads choose tracking type
and none it still checked . finding herbs icon does show up and mouse over reads find herbs
but not for find minerals

now the mining node will show up when i click find minerals but mouseover icon and it reads < click to choose tracking type> and the icon stays as showing tracking herbs
when i click find herbs the herb node shows up but the mining node does not disappear
click find minerals again and the herb node disappears and the mining node stays

just found out when i teleport to a different city if i am tracking minerals the find herb icon is on my mini map then after port the find minerals icon comes up if i change to track herbs the icon goes to find herbs
then when i click to find minerals the icon stays on find herbs

i use a macro to change between find herbs and find minerals when i am farming

cant believe its this as i have bee using it for 1 1/2 yrs this problem just started 4/11/09
