Why the snub to Enhance weaponry AGAIN?

So you've come out and basically said that ideally you want Enhancement Shaman using Slow/Slow WF/FT for our weaponry. This is really evident when looking at our new 2 pc. T8 set bonus, giving a MUCH bigger boost for slow weapon use. Not to mention the normalization of FT.

So WHY are there ZERO OH weapon choices in ulduar?

And there are only Two MH choices for us, one from 10 man, and one from 25. Now, I know all the loot hasn't been discovered yet, but lets look at what has been discovered.

5 2H weapons
2 Polearms
2 Physical Staves
5 Fast/Tank 1H Maces
6 1H Swords
4 Daggers
9 Ranged Weapons (Really, 9 was necessary?)
1 Fast OH Fist
2 Slow MH Fist

So out of this list, we have 2 viable weapons, 1 clearly superior to the other, and its for MH only. So it will replace our KT MH fist, which is by far the best weapon available to us now.

Which will leave it a toss up between the Angry Dread (ilvl 213 2.5 spd) and The Stray (ilvl 200 2.6 spd) as our best in slot OH for the entirety of 3.1.

So yeah, I'm left scratching my head. Why make slow/slow the best and give us ZERO love with weapons. I know that we're the ONLY class that would make use of say, a 1H non tank slow axe, but why not give us one? There's 9 ranged weapons for a total of 3 classes that can equip them, 1 that really cares about them. And one of those weapons is specifically for tanks, which is only of use to a Prot warrior.

At the very least, you could just make all fists in the game one handed. That way, rogues can still use the slow ones for MH, and pick up the fast ones for their OH, and we can keep our KT fists and combine them with an Ulduar weapon, so I"m not stuck killing Algalon w/ something that dropped off of Naxx 10 trash.

Sorry for the rather rant-ish nature of this post, but weapons are the lifeblood of our EXTREMELY gear dependent class, and being constantly forced to work with inferior gear to those around me in raids has gotten old after an expansion and a half.

We looked at the loot table of Ulduar and were satisfied that there were sufficient slow off-hands available. However, we do think there is some validity to orc shamans not often being able to benefit from the axe racial. With so many one-handed items to make, we get much more use out of itemizing maces, fists and swords, since those can be used by more classes.

Interesting that Eyonix replied to this after 3 days . . . wonder why . . .

I bookmark threads that I plan to reply to, though it's usually later that day. Patch craziness over the last two days altered where and how my time was spent.
