Exactly what the title said ...

According to the patch notes posted on MMO-Champion, I see this listed on the Engineering glove tinkers. I'm guessing this is a PvP-related change ... but since I rarely PvP, I don't know how this would affect me.

Normally, I'm usually a tank so I have either Armsman or an +18 Stamina patch on my gloves, depending on the content and situation. But as a DPS, sometimes I'll activate the tinker in conjunction with my trinkets, Avenging Wrath and a haste pot whenever I hear the raid leader scream "BLOODLUST!" on Vent.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is: What kind of items and/or spells exactly fall in this "Now invokes a 10-second DPS burst item category cooldown" category?

We took a look at some of the Engineering items and generally speaking we believe you need to be able to couple “on use” items with your own abilities, otherwise they have to be better than your normal abilities to ever be worth the GCD which is a direction we didn't want to go. So to keep players from stacking a whole bunch of them at once, we implemented a shared cooldown for them so you can use one of these burst items at a time, not several at once, while mixing them with your abilities for the best impact.

Q u o t e:
The pyro mounted gloves are kinda lame still. Fitting the attack into a rotation is complicated. I don't understand how blizzard measured their dps increase to be on par with other profs. They can't be balanced with how they are. They should just lower their damage and take them off the gcd. Since than you can reliably say they will be used almost every time the cd is up.

The plan is to take them off the GCD in 3.1 along with a damage increase and shorter cooldown (45s instead of 1 min).
