My main is a warlock and always has been. When I first picked up the game, I hadn't had much MMO experience and it was the first class that really appealed to me. Ever since I was a kid, I loved playing characters in games that could potentially wield great power, but be more focused on intellect and magic than brute force.

You may wonder why I didn't go for a mage when looking at the character selection screen. I'm just a bigger fan of dark or shadow casters than those that rely on the elements.

I have numerous alts of all different levels and classes, but playing my warlock always feels like being home. :)

locks ftw

whats your favorite talent tree?

I've been all around the trees as they've evolved over the years. I think demo would probably be my favorite, but it really depends. I'm doing the pretty standard demo/destro hybrid build at the moment, though I'm looking forward to trying new things with dual specs.

How could you?!?!

I know you'll still <3 me. It's the man behind the Gnome that makes him larger than life.

Q u o t e:
You sir have just won me 10 dollars from my fiance.

I knew you were a Gnome kinda guy.

Go gnome or go home!

lol, well you're welcome then. :D

do the blues ever post on non blue toons when they don't want to be identified as a blizzard employee?

As far as the community team goes, it's extremely rare. We try not to insert our own dialog or opinions into player discussions in an anonymous way. It kind of feels under-handed. The way I see my role here at Blizzard, and as a gamer, if there's something I want to post that wouldn't be appropriately said in blue, I probably shouldn't post it at all. Even as a gamer in general, I consider myself a bit more of an observer. I think I have a more positive outlook on my job day to day if I'm focusing on the big picture, and on why I love Blizzard games, rather than getting caught up in any specific discussions on a regular posting account.

I definitely tend to troll chat channels in game more than I probably should though. I can be pretty vocal (without being mean) about tactically stupid decisions, or lack of strategy, in Battlegrounds or in Lake Wintergrasp. When it comes to running instances with friends though, I have quite a knack for borderline lewd sarcasm. :)

There's always the odd guild member whose death in an instance I view as an amazingly awesome occurrence.

That's not a very good reason to get divorced. If she threatens to divorce you over tickling, tell her you're taking the kids.

Wait... You guys did mean divorce as the only possible end to that path right?

\(o.0)/ "Halp!!"

I actually know a blizz employee in my guild that has been playing a dwarf paladin since release. XD

Crygil has himself a gorgeous female dwarf paladin. He used to be my uber tank until he fell into retribution and let his girlfriend take over the tanking role.

Something about it all is kind of hot. :p

Zarhym, when you play do you ever feel like you have an advantage over other players because you're "in the know"?

Or do you pretend to be innocent? ;) ;)

I mostly play innocent, but I'm also fairly shy and introverted in-game around people I don't know, as I am generally in real life.

I'd always shy away from leading anything dungeon-wise, but I feel I've learned enough in Battlegrounds over the years that I'm not afraid to point out strategic blunders... like when the majority of Wintergrasp fortress defense is distracted by pretty HKs on one side of the fortress while the walls are coming down on the other.

Q u o t e:
So you're one of those annoying kids that spam /trade and just troll? Or did you mean to say 'lurk'?

I never get too involved in any trade conversations. I'll give one or two odd responses here and there in a given week. Just enough to feel clever, and not so much that I feel anyone even noticed. :p
