Me and my dad created this account way back when i was younger, and now that i'm growing older and playing a lot more often, i wanted to open an account of my own to transfer my characters to.

The only problem is, we merged our account with my battle.net account, and can't seem to find what we made our WoW accounts name as to be sure.

So my question is, Do i just use my battle.net account name and it will allow me to transfer? Or am i screwed.

Thanks
Rick

If your names are the same this is sort of a non-issue :) If you are a minor, the account needs to be in your parent or guardians name. Your parent or guardian has the same name as you, so it is fine and can be considered in the parent's name.

To do a Paid Character Transfer from a Battle.net account, it will need to go to another World of Warcraft account on a Battle.net account. It can be attached to the same E-mail or a different Battle.net account with a different E-mail. Once again, the system is only going to check your last name to make sure they match.

There are other security checks in place with Paid Character Transfers of course, such as requesting your Secret Question Answer, so be prepared!

Q u o t e:
So my dad will have to go through the headache of contacting customer support because i'm not 18 yet? Instead of giving a simple answer we have to go through the possibility of hours on the phone or waiting for an email, just to find out what we made the damn name as?

If you do not know what name you actually put down for an account holder, then you would need to speak with our Billing & Account Services. To note, if it is not in you or your dad's name, they would be unable to discuss the details of the account or assist directly with recovery of the account.

I do hope your accounts are in your names for your own ease of use and peace of mind.
