****EDITED WITH TOTEM STOMPING FIX SUGGESTION****
Thanks to Eze

X's Spirit
<Totem>

random elemental / shaman type name

This allows Totems to receive a random name like the Death Knight ghoul or the Warlock demons. The subtext also allows for the actual totem name to still represent so players can click on it and see what totem was dropped.

This also plays on the shaman's ability to speak to the Elemental Spirits.

It has been said several times that Blizzard does not support Totem Stomping. However, they also say they can do nothing about it.

There is never any explanation as to why?

THIS IS A HUGE CONCERN FOR THE SHAMAN COMMUNITY AS YOU CONTINUE TO CLAIM TOTEMS ARE OUR ICONIC CLASS ABILITY.

Please explain why nothing can be done about it as of now?

Please explain why you have not allowed for this to be fixed within the past 4 years that it has been complained about?

Perhaps more people would be understanding if you went into detail about WHY certain "fixes" for totem stomping won't work, and WHY it is so hard to fix in the first place.

If you had read the really long topic with a few blue posts in it from a week or so ago, you would know our stance.

We don't like totem stomping macros and we are taking steps to prevent them. Because of technical limitations, these changes probably won't be in place for 3.1. But we will get them in place soon.
