Via mmo-champion:

Flask of Stoneblood now increases the player's maximum health by 1300. (Up from 750)

I wonder if Mixology will still get a 50% bonus to the effect? If so, doesn't that make alchemy edge out the other professions (except for Jewelcrafting, probably) in health bonuses? Fifty percent of 1300 is 650, which isn't too shabby. I'll have to try and get the PTR client up and running on my system to check it out.

We felt the current amount of health from the stoneblood was just ridiculous at how low it was, especially considering the damage from bosses in Ulduar so we buffed it a bit. Just keep in mind that we don't really like the idea of every new flask/upgrade being something with the same stats and just higher numbers every time. As an example it's possible the next tanking flask would have the same or lower health but extra mitigation stats like armor or defense on it.

Q u o t e:
So Ulduar bosses are balanced around the new Stoneblood?

I think it's more along the lines of when a boss is smashing a tank for 30k damage, it will won't be terribly common for a couple hundred health to completely save the day, but it will be cool if it does.

Yet Titanguard was removed as bosses being balanced around it was a Bad Thing.

Hello, Mr. D. Standard.

We already have health flasks in the game, no need to add another required straight stamina boost, we'll come up with something more interesting instead.
