What nerfs are shamans getting to mana regen?

Have I missed something?

Druids / Priests get hit majorly by the 40% spirit nerf; they're nerfing some paladin things (although frankly, it's not much compared to the druid / priest nerf)

But shamans?????????????????

I can't recall anything where it said their mana regen will be nerfed.

Sure, mana spring doesn't stack with BoW anymore, but that's not gonna affect small-group settings (e.g, 5man / arenas) where they don't have a pally anyway. Also it's a "nerf" to other healers who relied on the totem too.

It's funny - I play a resto druid in arenas, and shamans take about 4x as long to oom than a druid / priest CURRENTLY, before the spirit nerf; we all know that shamans are one of the healers, closely followed by pallies, that never "TRULY" OOM. (Whereas an oom druid / priest is pretty obvious)

Soooooo can someone fill me in here? Or will we see raids stacking shamans / (& pallies) again while druids / priests are benched because they now have "mana management issues"?

Q u o t e:
The customers continue to buy the carpenter's tables. They often comment how much better it is to have a table with three short legs and one long one, rather than, a table with three long legs and one short one.

From our perspective, it's that the customers want the legs as long as possible and if they had to cut a hole in their second story floor to accomodate the table, that would be a satisfactory compromise. :)

Seriously though, most reasonable players don't want infinite mana. They just disagree on whether the current mana regen numbers are too severe (or too dependent on Replenishment).

There are some reasonable players who think mana should be infinite for healers and the encounters should be balanced in other ways. I've tried to explain before why we think that isn't a great model, but it tends to be a long convesation so I won't be able to outline it all again at this moment. In brief, it comes down to very harsh enrage timers and being GCD constrained with your healing.
