Random acts of kindness.

If you've played for a few years, you have obviously either done some random acts of kindness, or have had some done to you. Here you can post them for the reading enjoyment (and possibly jealousy xD) of other players.

Christmas last year I decided to reroll Alliance on Moon Guard. I make a Dwarf Paladin on this new server, and I zone in to a level 76 Human Rogue in front of me. He opens a trade window, puts in 100g, and his side goes green. I get a whisper: "Merry Christmas.", and I accept, and thank him greatly through whispers.

When I first started I had an Undead Warrior. When he was finishing up Hillsbrad Foothills, (32-33) I was about to head into the zone east to it. (Name escapes me.) On the way out of Tarren Mill, I see a lower level Night Elf Druid getting destroyed by 4-5 mobs. Instead of killing him, (he was flagged.) I equipped my shield, went defensive stance, and pulled aggro. After I helped him, he pointed toward the west, and did a /question, then a /beg. I guess he wanted me to follow.

We got to the Yeti cave. I didn't know if there was an Alliance quest there, so I thought about just going my way, but I decided to help him anyway. Wasn't in the questing mood anyway. We go through the cave, clearing the place when he waves /bye and logs out. I hearth out to Tarren Mill, and go to Arathi. (Hah, that's the name!) A few hours later I have some mail, and I get a letter from an Orc Shaman. It had five gold in it, and a written "Thanks for the help."

Now, post yours!

I fully support random acts of kindness.

Just one of the things I'll do is give new players money and help them get started on their way.

Q u o t e:

Once you feed them, they never go away.

Not true. Sure, some linger around the doorstep a bit, but once they figure out they're on their own from there, they tend to do alright. :)
