WIM & April Fools Explained

I am the developer of WIM. I took a lot of time to think of a good and fun prank mixing my love for starwars in the mix as well.

The prank itself is on WIMAddon.com on the front page as well as an apology and explanation of how to stop the modem sounds.

Just note, the joke was made in good faith and didn't mean to cause anyone panic. It is 2009 and I put too much faith in people thinking they were just a little more tech savy. Apparently I was wrong. And for that I am sorry.

I assure you there is no foul play. WIM simply plays a sound file. I included an instruction on how to remove it on WIM's site.

I also apologize to the GM's at blizzard for having to deal with the extra tickets I might have caused you. You have my email address on file to this account if you need to contact me for any reason.

Thanks for taking the time to make this post, Pazza. Hopefully your explanation will help quell some of the confusion surrounding the odd noises emanating from WIM.
