5 Man Content - Will we be seeing more

I'm kind of curious if we'll be seeing more 5 man content coming any time soon or not. Blizzard has stated in the past (I'm sure it's changed now with the ease of current raid content) that most of their player base does not raid. As such it makes me wonder as to why there is no active development on 5 mans happening.

Can any blue post as to what might be going on with the 5 man scene? I'd honestly like to see more come in to the game, since that's where most of your play time by people is spent.

And to nip it in the bud for those who say 'go raid'. Already do that, takes a whole 8 hours a week to clear all current 10/25man raid content. So basically a whole 2 days.

Really just curious if anything is going to be coming out for 5 mans is all.

I don't have any specific information for you on this at this time. Sorry. Should that change, we'll be sure to let everyone know. We are currently focused on the upcoming content such as the Argent Tournament and Ulduar, from there, we'll be doing our best to continue to keep everyone informed on what will be coming next.

It's more a matter of deciding if further 5-player content is appropriate (development time wise, game wise) and whether we have the time within the development cycle to add any. We have a lot coming up in the next content patch, more in the next, and so on. We have a pretty ambitious schedule for ourselves and we'd like to try to get as much in as we can.

We're aware of this and thus we are introducing the Argent Tournament that allows players to do solo content, new dailies, some grouping, experience the new mounted combat system, gain new rewards and items, and also earn faction with the city they represent.

While there isn't specific five-player content (dungeon) going in with the next content patch, there are many things that are accessible to all players.

Also keep in mind, at no point have I said it wasn't a possibility for the future. Just simply that there is nothing that I could discuss or share with you now, but we will share with you all if and when there is something to say.
