Is this against the TOU?

Is it against WoW's terms of use to pay gold for a trading card game code? From what I understand, you can't exchange gold for real life items. However, the TCG codes are in game items. This would make technically make it okay to trade for the codes, right? Anyone know what the exact policy is about this?

As a matter of corroboration, Malgeras, the previous posters are correct: To exchange items with real-world value — such as a WoW: TCG Loot Card, or the code that accompanies it — for in-game currency constitutes a violation of our Terms of Use. I would strongly advise against it. :)

Q u o t e:
ok say someone does get a certain code. but the item that comes from that code is faction specific. such as this ghost saber ridable mount. is this item faction specific like alliance. if so then what if you play horde only.

Happily, the Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger, as well as the other Loot Card items (to my knowledge), may be used by either Horde or Alliance. :)
