Wow. I had no idea.

An adventure game in the world of Warcraft.

I was, and still am, really big on classic point and click adventures. I was extremely excited for Warcraft Adventures, as I'm sure many were, but looking back it was probably for the best. If it isn't going to meet the Blizzard standard of quality, then it's not something we're going to release. Kind of like overcooked broccolini, it just shouldn't be served.

I'm sure it would have sucked. It looks like one of those point and click games or something.

Leave. Now.

I played a lot of those games too, Kings Quest, etc. In retrospect though, they were terrible. Most of the puzzles were 100% counter-intuitive. They left no room for clever solutions, just the one obscure random solution. The genre died out for good reason.

I would recommend trying some newer ones, I'll agree that some adventure games, especially the older silly ones, have completely non-sensical solutions a bit of the time. I like it personally, but it can be frustrating and in some cases pretty much require a walkthrough. A more recent game "Return to Mysterious Island" had a pretty cool collection and item combination system. It's kind of a Myst meets MacGyver. They've released at lease one other game that I'm aware of that has a similar inventory and item combination system that allows you to solve puzzles multiple ways.

We're treading onto Off-Topic territory here, sorry. Let's try to keep it on track if at all possible.
