I can't really tell what the issue is, so I'd say it's working as intended for the time being.

There's a clipping error with the mount. It looks like they're mounted inside the mount rather than on top of the mount.
I've seen it happen on my Big Battle Bear mount as well.
Thanks for the info. There should be some modifications to this in 3.1 - I am not sure if they will completely solve it, but it should help. Is anybody seeing this still on the PTR?

The bear mount is messed up on the PTR. The mouth is closed and the mount is much more smaller. Oh and the clipping still exists.
I looked into it and this is something we are aware of and working on changes. The problem is that we are working on setting this up so it works properly for all races. Going from a gnome to a tauren is quite a bit of different in size which affects the character and their positioning. We will see where it ends up when 3.1 launches.

You know what I don't get? Undercity is guarded by abominations, right? They'd have to be able to fit on the lifts to get down there from the graveyard, right? Well they're HUGE and I barely fit. Please, for lore sake, increase the size of the lift doors in undercity.
They were brought down the elevator in different pieces and assembled below.
