Standard Account Upgrade

Hello everyone,

I just had a quick question about the upgrade from a trial account to a Standard account.
I think it was either yesterday or 2 days ago that I upgraded my account to a Standard account from a trial and I received the email and everything saying that my account was successfully upgraded. I logged into the site and clicked on "Account Management" to view the details of my account and I scrolled down to "Billing Information" and it says "4/6/09 $19.99 USD Upgrade to Standard Account Pending". That date, 4/6/09, is that went it actually gets fully upgraded? If not, how long will it take? Does anyone know?

Thank you all for your time and thanks in advance to future posters.

Regards,
~Sekryz

When a trial account is created you are awarded with 10-days' worth of gametime; you keep this gametime even if you choose to upgrade your account before the trial has expired. The section of Account Management you are referring to is dedicated solely to your World of Warcraft gametime/subscription. Because the first 10 days are complimentary, the 30 days from the online upgrade will not take effect until 4/6/09.

With that being said, trial restrictions behave a bit differently. When a trial account is upgraded using the online upgrade process, we must verify that payment information before we are able to lift all of the trial restrictions -- this verification process takes up to 72 hours to complete. Immediately after upgrading your account trial restrictions such as leveling restrictions and gametime restrictions are removed, but chat and trade restrictions will remain for the entirety of the verification process.

Please let me know if you have any further questions!
