@New 310% Frost Wyrm Mount

Wow I am in disbelief. 5 seasons of special speed mounts with exclusive skins unobtainable by anyone except for the few "pvp elitist".

And damn being one of them sucks. This will be my third season receiving a gift for the blizzard Santa Claus, for finishing in the top .5% of my battle group, that I won't be able to even use! That is right I don't have my epic flying skill!. Veng and Brut drake in the bag and soon to be some fugly dragon with missing skin.

Solution to this problem? Make epic riding skill obtainable through pvp. Honor or arena points would be nice, just a pain to go out and farm money for hours just so I can ride my reward. Hope you're listening thanks blizz!

We feel this is a pretty awesome item that is very fitting for players that top the PvP charts while not providing an item that gives a distinct advantage in battle (which is something we don't want to do).

I imagine if you took the time to read the original post you might have not posted this here? I'm pretty sure his complaint is that epic flying isn't available without going through a lot of PvE grinding. His complaint isn't that the frostwyrm mount is an arena mount.

Sorry if I wasn't clear enough, but we are fine with these being the rewards and how the system for getting epic flying skill is currently working.

I see no connection here.

No additional frost wyrms are being added in patch 3.1, we will see what the future holds beyond that.

Arena players are pretty stoked about this and the proto-drakes are much more fitting for Ulduar.
