This can't be what the game is for, trade on my server has gone from qq and stupidity to 4 lines of casino spam ever 2nd or 3rd message, and honestly I preferred the former.

Having a brother who got sucked into online casinos I can tell you it's not pretty and he's still paying for it. This is a very bad policy of Blizzard's and to allow this activity is disturbing. Who want's our beloved game to become known as not only a place for mmo addicts, but for online gambling addicts, and it's not even real money. That is, until those with real existing gambling problems buy fake gold to support their addiction in an already addictive game.

Having seen some post from a few years ago about this
http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=10271176&postId=102801193&sid=1#0
and apparently now or recently Blizz caved and began to allow it for some reason, I'm amazed and would be very interested why Blizzard thinks online gambling in an mmo is not morally questionable.

I use trade all the time to make gold for my characters, on BR at least it's flooded with casino rubbish and then followed by people complaining about the scheme/scam. If it's now Blizzards policy to allow gambling please make a new channel so those of us that can see through this scam (because that's what casinos are in the end) and know how casinos really work can play the game the way it's supposed to be.

It is this reason alone I am no longer allowing my kids to play anymore and have stopped recommending it to others. If this is the direction Blizz is heading to attract more players beyond the 12million it already has I think I might stop playing too.

Flame away kids.
