Why No DKs at Low Levels?

Now to start, this is not a crying thread. This comes from someone who really does enjoy the class and wants to become better at it.

Anyway, why weren't death knights started at a lower level? I, for one, think it would have been incredibly fun to run up a DK starting from a low level, perhaps even level one (I was actually thinking more of like 15 or maybe 25) and learn all the various abilities and specs as you level the character.

This would have made sense given Blizzard's stance on making LK content easier and thus more accessible to more players. They didn't want to 'waste' content by making it so hard that only a very few got to see it (a big problem they had with Sunwell). However, as it is right now, old world content is now essentially wasted because if someone isn't raiding or doing dailies on a main, they are running up a DK and for those few of us who are actively leveling alts in old world, the place seems incredibly barren and empty, except for high level people running around grinding professions. Hell, it's hard to even find a group for Scarlet Monastery anymore.

In short, I think it would have been a wonderful idea to start DKs at a lower level. Having an instant 55 is fun and all, but I think it would have been more fun revisiting old content at an appropriate level as a new class. Also, I think this would solve the overpopulation problem and the problem with DKs that are just bad at their class.

The long and the short of it is... "Hero" class. It's not terribly heroic starting at level 10 or 15 or even 40. Besides, you can always go take another class up through the levels if you really want to revisit older content.
