Why cant they? From my understanding, they can log into their normal account from home, then log off and log onto their GM account.

Or they could just write the offender's name down and deal with it later.

Any account flagged for certain powers in-game used for work purposes requires a special client version of the game that can't be run outside Blizzard offices.

To address your second point, only employees that need such an account to perform work-related tasks have access to them -- for instance, I do not have an account that gives me any special access to supernatural features in-game -- and those accounts are watched closely to ensure they're used only as needed to assist customers or troubleshoot issues.

would you be so kind to put it up on filefront for me?

Sure, it'll be finished uploading some time shortly after March 30th.

I was going to blame my T7.25 gloves on never dropping on you, but I got them last night.

So there goes that theory. ...Unless you're making me fall into a false sense of security!

I've contacted the Game Master department to see about removing those gloves from your inventory, as they were not intended to be distributed to you. :p

1000 years from now, when our descendants are playing World of Warcraft: Help Alexstrasza Match Her Socks, someone is going to find this and hold you to it.

This is one situation where I think it's completely justifiable for me to say...

I could care less!

I know there are a few videos floating around of a GM in Orgrimmar that was launching people into the air and turning them into various monsters... there are three theories I can come up with to fit this considering your previous post

1. He was fired
2. It was the end of some sort of beta test or something
3. It was his birthday and his boss let him have some fun.

I'm not sure if this is still in practice, but in the past some game masters have been specifically selected to go show themselves in game and have a little fun with players. They would launch them into the air causing them to fall slowly, temporarily morph them into other creatures, hand out fireworks, and other fun things.

This was an intended practice to build some rapport with players in the game, giving game masters the opportunity to show a more fun side beyond taking tickets every day. It wasn't the practice of game masters going rogue, and the things they did gave players no specific advantages in the game... they were just fun activities. :)

When it comes to adjectives, I just like fun.

I think you mean:
"I couldn't care less!"

otherwise you are implying some level of care.

I was implying that I wouldn't rule out the possibility that there could be some lesser level of care below my lack of caring for 1000-year consequences. :p

Oh really, how many GMs here do you see that post, and use to post on forums? Well I duno how you would say abused, but on the PTR before, a horde rogue ganked hortus when he was checking out the new tcg card rewards >>>>>> some instant death thing lol. And I wish I still knew the link to the vid, but Eyonix, Hortus, and a ton of other GMs came to the ptr for pvp testing. Hortus was giant spamming people with Amani bears, Eyeonix was a giant tree, another had a giant 70 elite hogger for a pet....hmm one was Illidan, another was that guy in DK wing that owns melee when they stack up. Best of all, was in Shattrah, they summoned almost every boss possible, KT, C'thun, Onyxia, Nefarian???, in westfall, hortus summoned saurfang, and if he got too crowded, he used some AoE push back on ppl.

The test realms are a completely different ball game. There are occasions where we have planned community events on the test realms, but we don't get regular access to the accounts needed to perform such tricks. ;)
