In PVE, there is enough data to show that rets are 15-2-% lower than most pure and some hybrids in 3.1, you provide a minor buff to Divine storm, which in itself makes up for a very small percentage of overall Ret dmg. We are still waaaaay lower than most DPS classes, and 3.1 is very close to release.
In PVP, there is only 1 type of wow player that finds rets OP. The undergeared one. All the ret are OP posts are made by folks who 1) Are in full PVE gear with less than 200 resi. 2) Play in BGs where noone can keep track of the different CDs being used 3) Do NOT arena or have sad sub 1600 rated teams and use random excuses ranging from " i dont like arenas', 'i only play with friends', 'other totally BS excuse'
We have no gap closers, no snares, no healing debuff, no interrupts, can easily be kited forever. This is obvious by the arena representation where DKs, hunters, rogues, mages, locks are all higher than rets. In 2s, feral druids have more representation that rets.
You nerf HOJ with no compensation. You think about the new crusader strike , but then clarify asap that you dont intend for that change to go live in 3.1. Dont you think Ret has been nerfed enough? Perhaps we can think of ways to compensate nerfs BEFORE the nerfs go into effect, rather than an afterthought assuming you have the time before you need to release the patch?
SOB/M. There is NO justification, NONE WHATSOEVER for the self damage part to stay anymore. Yet you refuse to get rid of the recoil or buff SOC so that folks might actually use it on occasion.
