Battle.net Account Compromise

(Posting from a friends house due to a possible hacked issue)
So, I made a Battle.net account on Friday and that worked out fine, but I decided not to bind my World of Warcraft account to it. I've been playing my account like normal since last night when I logged off. I tried to login this morning, and got an error telling me that my account was bound to a battle.net account, but trying to login with my battle.net account told me that my account was already bound to a battle.net account.

A character on the account is Either and realm is Kel'Thuzad. Did my account get hacked and bound to someone else's battle.net account, or did I mistakenly bind it and it just isn't working?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm afraid that you must speak with a Billing Representative regarding this issue, Titan; only they will be able to offer additional assistance when it comes to the retrieval of your account.

Q u o t e:

I am not going to do this battle net tie in thing.

If blizzard forces it, I'm likely to just stop playing.

I am going to cite what happened to this user as one of the reasons.

It is ridiculous that they'd have me do this, then have the possibility of it tying my account to someone else's battlenet account.

Once an account has been linked to a Battle.net account you are unable to merge it into another Battle.net account without the assistance of our Billing and Account Services Department. In other words, if you create a Battle.net account and merge your World of Warcraft account into it, a malicious party would be unable to merge it into a malicious Battle.net account.

Q u o t e:
You know what its compromised do me a favor and add yourself to a trial account friends list and let me know what you find, I found both of my accounts logged in yet I couldn't get into them and they were bound to a b.net account it seems to me something got leaked somewhere with tons of accounts or there is an exploit that needs to be addressed ASAP.

In order for these malicious parties to have gained access to your account(s), they would need access to your World of Warcraft account information. Unfortunately, they have likely gleaned this information as a result of a keylogger found on your computer. I strongly encourage you to spend an ample amount of time securing your computer.
