Question regarding the merging accounts

Is it possible for my accounts (2) to be merged without me doing anything?

I just found out about the Battle.net system of merging accounts when I tried to sign on WoW a few hours ago and it told me to log in with my Battle.net account. I had no idea what it was talking about so I looked at the WoW front page and found out about the Battle.net system.

So, I made a desperate attempt by registering a Battle.net account and tried to register my WoW account but it said the WoW account was already registered (figured).

Now.. I don't have access to my old email that was registered with the account, I have forgotten it entirely. When I didn't recognize the partial email addy they showed me, I sort of ignored it.

I probably will have to call in tomorrow to get a new email; I guess they might send something about the merge...

but until then, any ideas or comments??

I signed on WoW Friday night fine.

I would sincerely encourage you to use this time to bolster your account's security. While I understand you must be incredibly frustrated and concerned for the longevity of your account—a fact for which I am deeply sorry—you are not without options; there are ways yet that you can positively affect this situation.
