Hello everyone, I just wanted to post a reminder that the Blizzard Theme Park Contest is coming to a close and will end on March 30th. We know there are many talented and creative people in our community, and we'd hate for them to miss out on the opportunity to take part in this contest.

You can find out more in the sticky thread at the top of the forum here- http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=15234890244&sid=1

Hm.

Ends dangerously close to April 1st.

Shenanigans abound?

No shenanigans in play and I think you just wanted to say "shenanigans". :)

You've all talked about a theme park before and what would it be like, so now's your chance to imagine and bring your vision out for everyone to see.

@ Neth

If I make a theme park in Rollercoaster Tycoon and screenshot select parts of it, is that legit?

Read through the rules, they might give a better idea of what we're looking for and using an emulator may not be the best way to represent your ideas.

I can't draw though!

You don't need to draw it all by hand though. A solid graphic program and some shapes and you can essentually do some nice layers of concepts right in there. While we want these to look great, we also want to see some really creative ideas as well.

From the original contest post-

You can submit illustrations that look like theme-park maps, compose your park to look like a screenshot from a game, or create whatever kind of park you wish -- the only limit is your imagination.

You might be the type that enjoys more architectural style design or working with landscaping. If you've ever designed something in simulators, this is similar in concept. Stretch your imagination and give it a shot. What have you got to lose?
