Can't make a DK with lvl 55 on any server

It will not unlock the option for me to create a DK on the server I'm on, or any server, I've seen DK's on the server I'm currently on, also when i downloaded and installed WOTLK, I had uninstalled BC due to complications and installed Wotlk on its own, would this be causing the problem ??

Before your account will be permitted access to WotLK-specific features, Nacnac, it must be first upgraded to WotLK. If you already possess an Authentication Key, you may begin the upgrade process here:

Once your account is successfully upgraded to WotLK, you will possess access to its related amenities—including the ability to play the Death Knight class (provided that a level 55 character is already present on the account). :)
