Tons of new mounts. No Qiraji?

A recent screenshot of the day features Scarab Lord Kenkara and three other Scarab Lords. Some of the people in that picture Paid Character Transferred in order to complete Bang a Gong!.
Nevermind that tons of people turned in Bang a Gong! when the AQ gates erroneously shut during 3.0.2. or that people PCT to complete this quest, but now Bang a Gong! will not be able to be completed once the last realm, Borean Tundra, opens AQ (if they haven't already).

Blizzard is adding tons of mounts to the game (especially in 3.1) and yet the Black Qiraji Tank will fade into obscurity. Most people have never even seen one in game.

Despite all of the recent blunders, there's no compensation for the people who have been waiting in line to turn in this quest. Considering many people got the rewards illegitimately in 3.0.2 or via PCT, shouldn't people who completed the questline get the same rewards? Bang a Gong! is something many players aspire to complete and although many have been waiting patiently for a server to transfer to, the U.S. servers have been uncooperative and/or not available. Meanwhile, people in EU/LATAM were able to Xfer and turn in left and right.

There has been one maxed thread in the suggestion forum already about trading the currency of [The Scepter of the Shifting Sands] for a Qiraji mount, but of course no Blue will ever post there.

With all of the new mount additions, couldn't it be possible to shut up all the whiny people who have completed this quest chain just the same as other people who already have the rewards by adding a Qiraji mount?

This discussion quickly turns into a flame war. The reality is that not only 1 person was allowed to get it per realm, most people who have the rewards got them at 70 or 80 via PCT, etc.
At the end of the day, there are people with the rewards from Bang a Gong! who completed the same exact questline as those without the rewards.
I'd gladly pay $50 to Blizzard, as pretty much all people wanting to finish this quest would, however because of all the QQ they are discontinuing it.

Epic mounts are given away in this game left and right. A questline of this magnitude, surely deserves a mount as well.

We have no plans to add new/separate (however you want to see it) rewards for completing this long quest chain. I hope you had fun going through it all though as it is quite unique.

Q u o t e:
Can you make plans? :)

Anything can change, but for the time being, no. :)

Q u o t e:
Bornakk, do you agree that it's unfair that there are people with the rewards who did the same questline because they got it via a bug or PCT?

Not sure "unfair" is the word I would use, but I can say that we weren't really happy with it, but that is all the more reason to stop having the gates closed anywhere to prevent random things like this from happening in the future.

Aside from that, thanks for posting finally.
