PTR Build Deployment - 1/27/15

Greetings All!

The PTR realms are in the process of being brought down in order to deploy a new build. I'll be updating this thread with information and time estimates as I receive them. I don't have an ETA yet, but these pushes usually take at least 8 hours, if not more.

I'll be leaving this thread open for general discussion as long as people remain civil and follow forum rules.

Ah whoops, forgot about the maintenance underway on the PTR Authentication realms. Trying to get an ETA.

How can you do this? Just get my hopes up only to crush them like so many apples beneath the feet of a certain fruit vendor?

Those are tricky because I'm very much an outsider into Authentication issues/maintenance like that.

Authentication is back up, realms are still down while QA completes our realm verification testing.

Realms should be going live for real shortly (15 mins).

For real this time. I'm nearly certain.

I'm QA. "Certain" is a big deal.

We're working on this. Yesterday we ran some scripts that was intended to update everybody's PTR account to WoD (provided they had an active WoD subscription on retail) but it seems like it may have missed a handful of people.

We're currently investigating into why that didn't work for everybody.
