Why is it not like this already?

12/21/2010 4:11 PMPosted by Grubbinz"You know my rogue can't roll Need on plate items when they drop. So not fair, my DPS helped kill the boss, just as the Warrior's Tanking helped killed it. I should be entitled to roll Need on it over someone that can use it, despite the fact that it has no use to me other than vendor trash."
That's basically what you're saying but without the minor benefit of being able to vendor it for gold.
Last I knew, Chaos Orbs didn't replace gear drops. They are an additional thing as an added bonus for doing the instance.
If you think you are such a special little snowflake that you are the only one entitled to a drop, go ahead and form a group with your guild.
I guess I just won't tank or heal randoms with non-crafter characters.
Grubbinz, your argument is so bewildering that I'd feel better about life assuming you're trolling, rather than seriously sticking with this debate. I request you let it go so I don't have to start pushing buttons neither of us want to be pushed.
Zarhym, this change has an unintended side effect. If you have both a gathering and crafting profession you cannot see them. I am a 525 miner and blacksmith, and I have just completed both heroic Vortex Pinnacle and heroic Shadowfang Keep. In neither instance did an orb appear for rolling for me, or anyone else in the group.
They're not even dropping when you can actually use them now.
You guys really need better Q&A.
I don't think QA works how you think it works. In particular, it's not short for "question and answer". :p
There is a separate bug relating to the droprate which is in the process of being addressed right now.
Will there be any way to recover the ones that didn't drop or should we just stop farming for them till it's fixed?
