Mind Freeze bug? Would like a response

There's a lengthy post running on AJ about this with many people sharing a similar experience. Also, there is a thread about it in the bug forum. I am posting here because there is much more of a 2-way communication in this forum (Thank you, Ghostcrawler)

I thought it was just me being bad or possibly latency issues, but I never have had problems interrupting heals with my rogue. Several others in these threads have commented on how they do not have issues with the various other interrupts like kick, pummel, earthshock, counterspell, strangulate, etc - only Mind Freeze.

It appears Mind freeze has some sort of delay. At first I thought it had something to do with being a spell, since kick and many other interrupts are physical. But Strangulate, Earthshock, and counterspell don't seem to have this problem, so I'm at a loss. One theory that was posted in both threads is that the spell does not effect the target until the DK finishes his current swing animation. You see the spell go off, but it doesn't actually effect the target until the animation is complete.

Have others had this problem? Is Blizzard aware of this, still trying to duplicate it, or possibly have a fix already coming for it?

I realize you aren't overly concerned about DKs at the moment since they are pretty dominant in arena, etc, but this is still an annoying bug. And obviously class balance can be difficult to guage and tweak when bugs like this can plague it.

Thanks for any response!
