So... you understand they need a fix. If we understand they need a fix and then a player asks if they are getting a fix and we say "probably" then I don't really see a problem.
It's only a problem if players said "We need a fix" and we said "We don't agree, but here is one anyway," or we say "We have no idea. Sounds good. Here." That doesn't happen, despite the internet conspiracy theories.
