Time to allow cross-faction communication.

I don't see why Alliance and Horde can't start talking to each other now. If trash-talking is the issue, there is always /ignore, and /report for more extreme cases.

We don't allow cross-faction communication because the two factions are at war and we want to foster a sense of seperation. If you wish to communicate, you'll have to do so with hand gestures, noises and movements (emotes).

Could have fooled me... Neutral cities, Arena, Factional Safe zones centered around faction cities... the list goes on.

Pretty sure that in war 2 sides can still communicate with each other by speech and various other methods.

If you want 2 factions to really be at war some things in WoW need to change quite drastically, fostering a communications barrier is not it.

Everything you've listed could be explained. What matters is, it's how we've decided to approach things. It comes down to the fact that we want neutral cities, arenas, factional safe zones. We don't want cross-faction communication.
