What makes a Blue respond?

Sometimes I just don't understand.

Blues respond to:

A plea to remove druids,
a thread about obnoxious players
how to get your GF to play wow with you..

All important topics, I'm sure ...

When was the last time a Blue actually responded to any thread that outlined the clear disappointment that players have with engineering? There is a thread right now approaching 9 pages with many good ideas, and clear explanations why engineering has gone the way of the Dodo bird.

I can see CMs responding to these "fun"? topics every now and then, but hopefully their focus is on communication between players and developers. Do your job, and troll later.

Of course, now that I've written the word Engineering in the post, it will hit Blues filter, and be flagged for a non-response.

Edit: The trolls are out! and some even write in blue and green.

Seriously though. I've been in customer service management and training for years and it's a fact that customers with a problem (whether real or imagined) just want to know that someone is hearing their concerns, and is doing what they can.

If there is no information at this time, FINE! At least tell us that the developers are aware of the concerns. It's been a deafening silence for too long.

Q u o t e:
CMs are not customer support. They're moderators.

The moderator statement is a common misconception. We do moderate some, but the majority of moderation falls to our moderation team.

Rather than repost some things we've stated in the past about what we do, I'll point you to the WoW Wiki link.
