Whats Blizzard's policy in regards to players who put it on Master Looter in 25 man raids and purposely take loot for themselves, despite allowing everyone to /roll? Specifically the raid leader puts it on ML, takes the loot themself despite not rolling and then leaving?

Well, I think the point was, Warhammer forces this restriction, whereas WoW just allows it, and with regards to ninjaing by raid leaders, the distinction is actually quite of important.

As others have already detailed in depth, we have many different types of loot options available.

If it's on Master, you need to know....and trust....that person.

It's really not ideal at all for PUGs.

Ninja by the common definition means taking something that you have no right to. Master Loot GIVES them that right implicitly by the nature of that choice.

In the scenario you are describing above - what happens if NO ONE can use an item - it rots? No one gets to take it to sell?

If you have recommendations on this, I'm sure our developers would love to hear from you. Please write this up in our Suggestion Forum so our developers and policy makers can see it. They monitor that forum closely. Literally hundreds of changes to both game play and policy have germinated there over the years.

I am sorry for this, I know how frustrating this can be. It's certainly dishonorable - but at least at the moment, not normally actionable.
