We've had Video Games Live perform our music before. That may have been what you saw.

We'll have more information on what we have in store for the upcoming BlizzCon as soon as possible. I couldn't answer this for you at this time though. I really enjoyed the Echoes of War cds and for those that may not have had the chance to check it out yet, I highly suggest it (if you're a music lover).

I'm sort of surprised, listening to some of the samples. It seems somehow less precise, or not as "accurate" as the original themes, if that makes any sense. The Terran theme loses something when it's played by an orchestra instead of being made by synth. I think it's the sound of tech.
On the other hand, there are lots of pieces in WoW that I'd love to hear played by an orchestra, and made into much longer versions. The "discovery"-sounding music of Teldrassil and Ashenvale comes to mind as a good example.
Keep in mind when listening to Echoes of War that Eminence Symphony Orchestra essentually took the original works and expanded upon their compositions to create stand alone pieces of music that could be listened to and appreciated outside of the game.
That said though, there is still a piece of Starcraft music I can't listen to without hearing the voices and sounds of the Terran units in my head. :)
