Nude patch, how the hell?

I was doing a dungeon with someone and at the end after we had defeated the last boss she took off her clothes, all of them, while you guys at blizz are technically legally covered "online content not rated by ESRB" and "ESRB notice: game rating may change on online play" isn't that supposed to not be possible?

Changing the in-game models in such a way, Arzevel, can only be done client side, thus if you are able to view a character in their birthday suit it sounds like you may have some changed file on your system.

Now, there is an issue that sometimes causes a character to appear in their undergarments, zoning or logging out and back usually resolves this issue.

If you are seeing details nude models though your texture files may have been changed. I highly recommend running the Repair tool to resolve this issue, if you did not load these files yourself and others have access to your computer you may want to advise the other person that making such adjustments to these files is considered a violation of our EULA.

to the gm: i don't use addons, but would a complete uninstall/reinstall get rid of this, bug? i really don't want a ban, also just a thought it was just her everyone else including me still has undergarments. That is what confused me.

Try the repair tool first, Arzevel, that should go through your files and correct any changes that may have been made. Although a complete uninstall/reinstall should work as well it is a bit tedious and I'd rather not make you wait through the entire reinstall and patching process if you don't have to.

Edit: Quick question: Did everyone else in the group see this character nude? And... I know it is an odd question but .... was this character completely nude? If they were, did you see details or did it look like a Barbie doll?

no everyone saw the same thing i did. also i went to my data folder, and had nautilus run a search for that file, nothing. oh it was like a barbie, there was no "details" if i can call it.
