Multiple Line Trade Macros

I seem to be noticing more and more in our trade channel that people are using macros which spam multiple lines to advertise their wares.

Although it's great to see the trade channel being used, the blocks of 3-5 separate lines of text gets pretty frustrating. I've been using the report spam notification when I can't stand looking at it any longer, but it only lasts until I log out and then I'm bombarded with it again.

My previous tickets were unanswered, but may never have been received as I didn't get an email or in game notification. Can I please get some clarification on whether or not these trade macros are classed as spam and what I should be doing to properly report the issue?

Spamming is defined as:

Q u o t e:
* Excessively communicating the same phrase, similar phrases, or pure gibberish
* This includes saying the same phrase more than once in a period of 30 seconds

As long as the message that someone is sending to the Trade or General channel is done only now and then and not continuously, Holyschplat, it would probably not be considered a violation of our policies.

I looked into the petition history on this account, Holyschplat, and I was unable to find any petition for the last month. If you wish to speak with a Game Master though make sure you select the "Talk to a GM" option instead of "Report an Issue".
