Not really happy with Blizzard right now. It's over the Hearthstone Pro trait. I lost the epic mount trait on an epic follower with the bodyguard trait. So this was going to be my go to follower. A lot of other people are in a similar boat. People are asking Blizzard to clarify how this works so people stop getting burned. This is especially vital since there is not a fix for this at this time.

What does Blizzard do? A blue posts in these forums the following

Understand that there are a lot of situations where games will provide limited information on something and it is up to the player to explore further. To experiment and to share information with one another.

And yet from BlizzCon 2014 Kris Zierhut, Lead Class Designer on stage says: "Buttons should make sense right away, people shouldn't need third party websites to figure out how the game works."

Granted this is not a class ability issue. But I feel Kris's point should be just as valid "people shouldn't need third party websites to figure out how the game works"

In this situation, that is the only way for players to get this information and it is wrong. Not only that, the blue statement here seems inconsistent with what developers are saying are their goals. It is as if Blizzard's right hand doesn't know what the left is doing and they need to get on the same page.

In all due respect, Blizzard, you guys dropped the ball here and you should own up instead of throwing this back on players. The way this has been handled to date is completely wrong.

One, you need to fix this for the players affected by this (one of which was a GM who handled my ticket on the subject) and two, put in a tool tip so this doesn't keep happening.

We addressed this issue here: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/15355105640

We're also working on correcting the tooltips.
