My account was banned because of " Sale of Virtual Property " and looking on these forums it seems a lot of others are partaken in this massively random ban... Any news on what is going on? I have never bought gold nor needed to i made so much the first few weeks of wrath, and my account is my own, i didn't buy it. I'm very confused, and yes ive already sent a appeal to the WAA ( Wow Account Admins ). Just wondering if the GM's currently roaming these forums have any clue of whats going on.

Any insight is greatly appreciated.

* To add, I was just randomly DCed, no whisper, no warning, just DCed tried logging back on and it told me i was banned. O.o

Yes, we do; unfortunately, we'll be unable to provide any specific information regarding the matter. Anyone experiencing this issue that wishes to dispute the actions are more than welcome to contact our Account Administration department by e-mailing [email protected].

They're intentional, and for a reason.

I hate how blizz does random [Removed] for no reason and banning people for the stupidest reason are dump. If they gotta program that "detects" cheats. Then why are they banning people for NO reason or something we didn't even do,

These actions have nothing to do with botting, or hacking; however, as I mentioned in another thread:
Q u o t e:
We have our reasons for not providing specific information when it pertains to illicit transactions — the buying/selling of gold, accounts, etc — botting, hacking, or other methods of "cheating". One of them is so that we don't inform those who are actively participating in these activities with information that could lead to them getting around our methods of tracking them.

While we understand that this can be confusing to some, those that have participated in these actions are well aware of their participation and those that are utterly confused about the matter have fallen victim to one of the following: sharing their account; they've been compromised; thought they got away with something that occurred some time ago; didn't realize that what they did fell under a specific policy set.

That is why we have a method of disputing such actions.

And it looks like that bc of how many ppl are here saying the same thing.

And I can say that you look like a Tauren, but no how many other people agree with me, you're still an Undead.

Simply because some people say that this is the case, doesn't make it so, I'm afraid. =/

Then e-mail our Account Administration department, and dispute the actions taken.

While I'm unable to provide specific information regarding our methods of detection, I can say that there is a lot of incorrect conjecture as to what has transpired.

I'd really recommend just waiting for a response from our Account Administration department.
