Why Do Some People Play WoW Without A Guild

Cons?

Just curious to those who choose to play the game alone instead of with a guild of people they know?

I guess it depends on the server/faction but being guildless just seems like it would be frustrating and lonely.

I usually remain guildless on my alts, that's usually my time to mess around and not worry about having to socalize with anyone. I guess I'd compare it to periods here and there in real life, where you just feel like screening your calls and staying home for a night or the weekend, not being bothered by the outside world.
