Natural Mount Enhancement

Back in the day, Blizz decided they did not want the Riding Crops, Carrots on a stick, etc to function as trinkets any longer. They decided a new mechanic was needed. The first idea was to "enchant" mounts. That idea was tossed out when they decided to make mounts into spells.

At some point, they made it so that any kind of mount speed enhancement would no longer work after 70, until they figured out yet another mechanic.

Blizz, any idea when we will get our speed enhancement back on our mounts? What new mechanics do you have in mind? If you are still undecided, any chance we could get our Crops and Carrots Denerfed for a while? Thanks!

We don't have any immediate plans for trinkets to be used to increase mount speed past 70. It is something that we are discussing and we will have more information about this at a later date.
