What is Ghostcrawler? - Blue Tracker

No, not the answer to a Jeopardy question. I was wondering what it is that Ghostcrawler does, seeing is how he seems to be the 'voice' of Blizzard lately. Does he himself have control over choices that get made in WoW or is he just a representative of Blizzard? This post is NOT a flame nor a support of Ghostcrawler just a simple who is he. So please keep personal opinion out of this if you will.

Ghostcrawler is a senior game designer, so he does have direct influence and control over many changes made to the game. He's also got stunning good looks, which is a point I feel is relevant to your question.

He doesn't exist in a vacuum or anything. He still works on a team of developers who work through changes together.

It wouldn't come from him. It barely matters if he even likes me. I just happen to really like him as a person, and value his insights on design decisions. The fact that he's devoted to interacting with players on the forums, something not really in his job description, I think is good for us all as well. :)
