I have a problem with this being required for the Violet Proto-drake achievement. I'm not big on PVPing, and usually just assist the rest of the players rather than capturing the flag myself; I'd rather let a Rogue or Druid run the flag than drag it around behind me, for example.
When Children's Week goes up, though, this is going to suddenly become a big pain in the ass. Everybody is going to be competing for this achievement, then deserting when they complete it, or just leaving if they feel like they won't be able to do it easily. I'll probably be one of those people if this is really required for the Violet Proto-drake.
Now, I never had a problem with PVP achievements like "Kill 50 people while dressed up as a Christmas gnome" or whatever, since other peoples' HKs worked for that. Healers, for example, aren't (or shouldn't be) doing much besides healing, so that makes this a little more inconvenient or difficult for them. Many of these achievements favor some classes over others. It just seems a little broken to require all of us to do them OURSELVES.
I'd rather see it changed so we only need to be present and close by while someone else does it. That would make it infinitely easier, but still force us to Queue up for battlegrounds that really, at this point, I don't think very many people even want to do.
