Blizzard's Broken Promise- Ulduar is too easy

OK Blizz, so far this expansion has been lauded as having the easiest and least challenging raid content in perhaps the history of MMOs, and we were promised that this was just to "get our feet wet" and Ulduar would be something we could really sink our teeth into... Well the reports are in from the test realms, it's all over MMO-Champion, the new bosses are PERHAPS EVEN EASIER THAN NAXX and will just be another loot pinata festival that we will be forced to either farm every week in a complete state of boredom such as we do now with the current content, or cancel our accounts. Seriously, guilds are one-shotting the things you have up there already. IF THIS PERSISTS ON THE LIVE SERVERS I would highly recommend seeking some federal assistance for Activision - Blizzard, because you will be hemmoraghing subscribers like nothing ever seen before and your already poorly performing stock will drop through the floor.
PLEASE, for the love of God, make Ulduar kick our asses. Make us pay hundreds of gold in repairs before we see even one upgrade out of there. I am genuinely concerned for the livelihood of all the employees at your company.

FACT - PTR Bosses will go live as they are

Thanks for saving me the time on this.

You seem to be more sarcastic lately.

I like it.

Topics like this are just asking for it. We have explained many times in the past that things on the PTRs are not final and changes are still coming along, some may make them tougher but at the same time, yes, some fights may be relatively easy - that is why 11 of the encounters have hard modes and overall I haven't seen a lot of people on the PTRs testing hard modes.

laugh all you want Bor, I had 3 accounts one of them has been cancelled. The other 2 are prepaid and will probably be discontinued when they expire. WoW is a great game but it's so easy now and full of complete idiots.

I wasn't laughing, I was thanking a player for saying something that needed to be brought up as it happens a lot.

Anyway, how long did it take you to complete the Sartharion 3drake encounter? (Can't verify based on this toon.) I'm guessing at least 2 weeks if you did it before the new year. Yes, overall, the game has felt "easier" so far, but with a pile of hard modes coming this should keep people busy for awhile if that is what you are looking for.

And yes, I just avoided using any snarky comments in regards to the character name.

Bornakk I am sorry if I come off sounding like a troll and I am glad you plan to beef up the bosses from their current forms, I really am worried about you guys in the present state of the world economy and I'd hate to see my favorite game disappear just because some numbers weren't high enough.

Content will keep coming, I can assure you of that - hopefully it's enough to keep you busy.

And sorry Bornakk, hardmodes don't cut it. They can't replace the actual feeling of progressing through a raid zone.

I have heard this before, but building a bunch of content and important stories then making it extremely hard for the vast majority of players to get through it isn't terribly fun or good game design. The new system works better for more players, if you don't feel like you are progressing on normal modes, just start off on the hard modes and challenge yourself.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with the 3000+ queue times an hour before testing opens up, or the constant crashes, or the horrible lag or random disconnects.

Guilds spend 50% of the time just trying to get people onto the PTR and into the instance and by the time they actually get to the boss they have about an hours worth of pulls to figure out abilities and then testing closes. How exactly are people supposed to then figure out what the hard mode even is let alone test it?

And at the same time guilds have gotten in the encounters and killed the bosses. Yes, the PTR (especially early builds!) are likely to be buggy and crashy - if you plan to be on the PTR this really shouldn't surprise you at this point - but they smooth out over time and so far the fights this week have been easier to participate in (based on my personal experience).
