Ok straight up quick question GC,

How do you feel DK's are currently?

a) not good enough
b) where you want them

I myself am a S2-S3 gladiator, and recently got back into the swing of arena - needless to say things are far different now than they used to be.
I ask because most players in the arena / pvp community feel that DK's are too good utility and damage wise, and apparently they are getting buffed in 3.1. I am sorry GC, but I can't even fathom the reasoning behind this - it makes me not want to even arena anymore if the devs feel that DK's are currently underpowered in arena. I apologize, I really hate to be critical, but its true: Why in the world are DK's getting buffed? Straight up, this class needs *numerous* nerfs in arena, NOT buffs.

Please tell us where you see DK's being, do you feel that they're not good enough or where you want them to be? I just want to get a feel of where this game is heading, and whether DK's will permanantly be a near mandatory requirement for 3s and 5s, and if DK holy paladin will continue to dominate 2s.

I see all kinds of things thrown around here, that DK's are a hero class and that blizz intentionally made DK's overpowered to increase the subscriber base. While I don't buy either of those, I *do* want to hear it from the horses mouth.

Why?

Thank you.

Death knights are probably going to change more than any other class in 3.1. We have four years of class iteration history to catch up on!

Some of the changes will be buffs and some will be nerfs. While we are not asking anyone to refrain from commenting until all the changes are made (that is the whole point of the PTR), I would keep things in perspective. High fiving your mates because you got buffed or quitting the game because you got nerfed are probably premature until we are farther along.

There are certainly cases where DKs are too good at tanking, too good at dps and too good at PvP and those are definitely things we are addressing.
