No immortal in Ulduar please

The only thing in this game that has made the members of my guild more frustrated while raiding is pre-nerf Mu'ru and for the same reasons. Please do not put a similar achievement in to Ulduar as failing at something due to disconnects is unbearably tedious.

At least we can't spend all night on the immortal though, so I guess its a little better than old Mu'ru.

We will see what achievements we decide to make for Ulduar, but honestly I would not be surprised if an immortal-style achievement was one of them. There can be some frustrating scenarios that cause this to fail like disconnects, but unless it is a mass disconnect it can be worked around a lot of the time. Overall, in my experience, it is almost always a player's fault for failing on Undying/Immortal by getting a little careless and not remaining focused on the achievement goal.

Please make it by boss then, not for the whole instance in one clear. Expecting no RNG disconnects or lag for 14 bosses seems a little much.

These meta achievements aren't meant to be easy. Making it by boss would make it much much easier.

Edit: Also, please no under-manning on the meta. It's not hard, just annoying and makes you sit out raid members for no good reason.

If getting the achievement is "no good reason" - why are you doing it? :)

You can check the elitist jerks discussion as well and see as a community, the under manning achievements are pretty disliked. It's not the actual accomplishment, but telling 5 of your guild mates to take the night off (when guilds are required to have more than 25 because no one is 100% attendance) is extremely frustrating.

At the same time it doesn't take more than 2 clears to take care of everybody, which is pretty quick and easy.
