Blackrock issues?

Blackrock isn't on the server list anymore...it's online and people are connected but no one can connect to it.

Okay guys, clearly there are some issues regarding where some issues are listed, including Blackrock. Currently, you can access Blackrock from the 'German' tab on the realm selection interface.

We're working to resolve this issue at the moment, but you should be able to log into the realm normally via that tab.

Hrm, have you checked through those tabs to see if Blackrock is displaying on any of them? On the client I am currently using, I'm able to see a variety of tabs, including a German tab currently.

Once again, the appropriate parties are aware and are working to resolve this issue for Blackrock, as well as several other affected realms, as soon as possible.

I know you're frustrated, but that simply isn't going to happen, so let's put the brakes on those requests right now.

Uh, no. That's not what happened. The realm is currently visible on a German tab of the US client.

Merely because the issue hasn't been resolved on a timeline as swift as we all might prefer is no reflection on the professionalism, knowledge or skill of our technicians.

Issues take time to identify, isolate and resolve. When it's resolved, we'll let you know as soon as possible.

I'd love to provide a realmlist for you guys to use, but that wouldn't solve the problem in this case =/.

I've received word that we're making progress. It'll likely still take some time though, and we haven't been provided an ETA.

To clarify: Blackrock US is active. It is not on EU, nor could you (or I, for that matter) access it if it were. It is, erroneously, being displayed on a German tab on the US client.

Well, we're restarting Blackrock now in an effort to resolve the issue. No guarantee that this will enable you guys to log in normally, but it's the first step in the troubleshooting process.

Unfortunately, I do not have information regarding the specific causes of the situation. Given that I'm not in a position to reveal the specifics of how our systems function, I couldn't reveal that information if I had it.

We'll know if the the situation is corrected with the resolutions packaged in with this restart - which appear to have resolved the issue.

The realm has been mis-categorized for a relatively brief period of time, thus compensation is very unlikely. If you'd like to see compensation offered, then you can make that request on our Suggestions forum.

I apologize if there was any misunderstanding. I'm a Customer Service Forum Representative - I'm forwarding information as I receive it from the technicians that are working to resolve the issue. Does that make me PR? No, that's a completely different department.
